Barnett Associates audits the benefit charge statements to be certain that there are no erroneous charges generated by the following:
 Claimants appearing on the statement although a claim was never received.
Individuals who have refused job offers.
Claimants who have already collected for 26 weeks.
Claims won at hearing and are still being charged.
Claimants who never worked for the company.
We will question the availability and capability of highly employable individuals who continue to collect.
At year end, in anticipation of the following year's tax rates, we reconcile the annual benefit charges to the state's figures to be certain that the numbers used in the calculation of the rates and any voluntary contributions are correct.
